Becoming her isn’t just a movement; it’s a lifestyle. It’s a promise you make to yourself to live to your fullest potential. Why? Because it’s your happiness that’s on the line.

A lot of times, we believe we need to Be Her (meaning whatever version of you that you desire to be) before becoming your higher self. As if seeing before believing has actually worked. We fail to realize that it’s tiny daily actions that allow us to start becoming her before we are her.
I always believed that if I could just be the person who loved waking up, I could achieve all my goals. If I could be someone who had a career with a higher income, I could start saving more money. What I failed to realize was that I lacked the habits to support those goals.
To Be Her, I had to start Becoming Her, and that meant doing the hard daily tasks. Forcing myself to go to bed at night to wake up early, learning to save the income I had, were all things I had to do before I could be. To make blogging my dream career, I had to become a blogger. That meant changing my daily habits to reflect a successful blogger.
This is about having that identity shift to think, act, and plan like you are already the higher version of yourself. Becoming Her is a mindset game, and this time, you are going to win it.
This post is all about identity shifting to becoming the highest version of yourself.
Becoming Her
What does “Becoming Her” Mean?
This is a journey of self-love, self-discovery, and becoming the highest version of yourself. This journey is often lifelong as you grow in and out of desires. You’ll envision the type of woman you’d like to be and start to make small and intentional steps towards that higher self.
Everyone’s journey will look different on a religious, spiritual, wealth, and health level. No one’s journey will be or look the same. We are all unique and deserve to take up space in the world as the happiest version of ourselves.
This is an identity shift that takes place as you follow your unique path. You have to start to think, act, and do as the version of yourself that aligns with your values.

These are just a few life audit questions that you should ask yourself while envisioning the person you’d like to become. Think of 3-5 areas of your life that you can begin to work on for the upcoming year.
Identity Shifting
Before you are “her”, you have to start Becoming Her. This is where the mindset changes start to take place. This is the stage where you start to create habits, routines, and changes as if you are already living your dream life.
Does your higher self wake up early and pray? Will you become a salad person? Do you journal in the morning or at night? These are all smaller changes that will lead you to the bigger picture. It’s becoming 1% better every day. It’s investing in yourself and letting the compound interest speak for you.
Instead of wanting to start a blog, you are a blogger. You are a runner, you are a student, and you are a voter. There are many different identity shifts you can make at any given moment. You are one shift away from living a completely different life.

When should I start Becoming Her?
You may be wondering, why not just wait until the new year like everyone else? Honestly, it’s because we aren’t like everyone else. While everyone is waiting, you’ll already be ahead of the game. You’ve made a plan in November and enacted that plan in December.
You’ll already have begun your new routines, goals, and shift while everyone else is just getting started. They’ll ask you how you did it while looking like an overnight success story.
How Do I Start?
Action Step One: Take an Inventory of Your Current Life
Ask yourself if anything in your life needs to change, stay the same, or needs a simple tweak. Not everything needs to change all at once or at all. Maybe you have a great friend group, your marriage is beautiful, and you have an amazing work-life balance.

I’d advise choosing no more than 3 or 5 areas of your life that you would like to change or tweak for the new year. Choosing too many areas to change at one time will overwhelm you and will not allow you to go all in on the other areas of your life.
Action Step Two: Visualize Your Higher Self
After you have taken a step back and inventoried your current life, it’s time to get clear on your future. This is where the real magic happens, and the excitement to commit comes from. Find a quiet place and journal who will be.
These are just a few questions to ask yourself while journaling. What will bring you true peace and happiness to realize in your future? What does becoming her look like to you?
Action Step Three: Create a 12 Week Year Plan
I have read and reread The 12 Week Year, and it has worked wonders for my life and business. Although I am not making much money off of this (praying one day I can change this), it was more about mindset than results.
Creating a plan to start becoming her and following it will yield results much faster than someone without a plan. The 12-week year condenses your goals into 12 weeks to get more done than someone using the whole year.
You are in the best time in your life to change your life. There will never be a “better” time to start fresh. Becoming her is a commitment to becoming your best self to start living your best life.
Start living the life that aligns with your morals, values, and desires. This is your only life, and no one else has the power to dictate your life, nor should they. Becoming her is a powerful journey that’ll have everyone asking you how you did it.
You have the power to be that girl, so start acting like it.
