Hosting a Vision Board Party for all your friends will bring in the new year feeling like the IT girl. Setting off the new year with a bang, ambition and goals. Start “becoming her” with friends and good vibes.

As a mother who has big dreams, I’m excited to share how to host a memorable evening of creativity, connection, and envisioning a brighter future. Nothing makes entering the new year more exciting and fresh than creating a vision board.
I have always been a daydreamer with giant goals. Ever since I was little, I wanted to be my boss. My vision may have changed on how I was going to achieve that, but the overall goal stayed the same. I love sharing my goals with my closest friends and creating accountability partners to stay on track.
I love vision boards and didn’t discover them until a few years ago. It wasn’t until recently that I had the idea of a vision board party. Friends, goal-setting, and food are all I need to pop off the upcoming year.
This post is all about hosting a vision board party.
Vision Board Party
What is the purpose of a vision board party?
A vision board party is like a goal-setting party! Where you create a visualization of your dream life goals. Usually, people bring their poster boards and pictures, then spend an hour or two flipping through magazines or Pinterest.

They look for images and quotes that embody the future that they desire for themselves. You then glue or attach it to the poster board to serve as a motivator as you achieve each goal.
I love goal setting, daydreaming, and designing the life that makes me feel good. It’s even more fun and motivating to have friends to set goals and make plans with.
How do you host a vision board party?
1. Set the Date for your goal setting party:
Choose a date that works for you and your friends. I know how hard it is to get everyone’s schedule to link up, especially with kids. Whether it’s close friends, fellow moms from school, or neighbors, this is an opportunity to strengthen bonds and share aspirations.
To set a goal make a plan together is not only fun and motivating, but now you all have accountability partners to help along the way.

3. Host a Dinner Party:

Take your space into a cozy haven to spark creativity. Arrange comfortable seating, add soft lighting, and play some uplifting, fun music in the background. A warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
You can even make some cocktails (or mocktails) and have some finger foods to serve. Wear some lounge clothes and slippers to get comfortable and relax. Snuggle up in a cozy blanket and let your imagination run.

We are speaking every dream and goal into existence! This party isn’t just gluing pictures to a poster board. We are giving our dreams life.
5. Guide the Vision Board Process:
Explain the purpose of vision boards – visualizing and manifesting goals. Guide how to sift through magazines for images and words that resonate with everyone’s aspirations. Encourage creativity and emphasize that there are no right or wrong choices.
I usually go on YouTube, Instagram, and Pinterest to help me generate ideas. I like to gain inspiration for my current dreams or when I’m not sure what I’m dreaming of.
6. Include a Mommy Self-Care Section:
Make sure to dedicate a section of the vision board specifically for self-care. Encourage everyone to include images that represent activities or habits that they would like to do for themselves. This will serve as a reminder to prioritize self-care amidst the pulls of motherhood.
We all need to take time away from our children and family. We all need goals and visions we want to achieve outside of being mommy. It is because you have goals outside of motherhood, you’ll become a better and happier mother and wife.
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
A favorite and overused phrase that I love.
7. Support and Connection:
As everyone works on their vision boards, talk through every goal. Share stories, offer encouragement, and celebrate each other. This will not only strengthen your friendships but also provide an opportunity to support one another on their journeys. We all need accountability partners.
8. End with Reflection and Celebration:

Wrap up the evening by inviting everyone to reflect on their completed vision boards. Each person can share a key goal or aspiration, creating a sense of accomplishment and encouragement. Celebrate the uniqueness of each board and the shared experience of setting intentional goals for the new year.
Hosting a Vision Board Party is a meaningful way for friends to connect, reflect, and set intentions for the upcoming year. Create a warm and inviting environment, guide the vision board process, and foster meaningful conversation. You’re not only cultivating personal growth but also building meaningful connections.
